Amalfi Hotel
Luxury Boutique Hotel
Concept project
Overview
A concept for a boutique hotel on the Amalfi coast, where the view is the product and the website's only real job is to get out of its way.
Project scope
- Scope
- Brand concept, room stories, gallery, stay enquiry, reservation journey
- Primary goal
- Let the imagery sell the stay before the enquiry
- Status
- Concept project
Approach
Photography runs full-bleed and uncropped, held for longer than most sites would allow. Text is set narrow and placed low, so the image is read first and the words second.
The palette is drawn straight from the location: limestone, linen, late evening blue. Nothing is added that the building would not already contain.

Art direction
- Palette
- Limestone, linen, dusk blue
- Type
- Light serif, wide tracking
- Imagery
- Full-bleed, natural light
- Motion
- Slow parallax, long fades
Selected interface
A room detail page where the photograph leads and the enquiry waits quietly beside it.

Presentation
Rooms are presented one per screen — a single photograph, a short paragraph, and the two details a guest actually needs before enquiring.
The reservation panel stays quiet at the edge of the page and expands only when asked, so the sequence of images is never broken by an interface.
Outcome
The concept shows how a hospitality site can behave like a printed brochure: paced, photographic and unhurried, while still leading clearly to an enquiry.
